The Mediabistro Satisfaction Guarantee

We guarantee that you will get a satisfactory number of qualified responses to your job posting on Mediabistro.com.

If you are not satisfied with the initial response to your posting, we may take a variety of steps to deliver better results. If we’ve exhausted our preferred options and you’re still not satisfied, we’ll give you a refund or credit for the job.

How do you measure “satisfaction”?

Satisfaction means that you’ve received at least a couple of qualified applications for your posting.

It does NOT mean that you ultimately filled a position from a candidate that you sourced from Mediabistro, nor does it mean that a candidate you sourced and hired from Mediabistro ultimately works out once placed.

What should I do if I am not satisfied?

The first thing you should do is call one of Mediabistro’s Account Services Professionals at (800) 205-7792. They can take a look at your ad and begin taking steps to improve increase the response rate.

If our efforts to improve responses aren’t to your satisfaction, you can receive a credit for a future posting or get a refund, as long as the notice is received before the job expires (30 days after the job posting date).

To receive a refund, please send an email to jobcare@mediabistro.com and include in your message:

  • The reason for your dissatisfaction
  • A link to the job posting in question
  • A copy of your invoice or receipt with “Dissatisfied” written on it. Visit your employer account to access your invoices and receipts.

If the job was part of a prepaid Job Pack, you do not need to send the invoice or receipt along with your notice of dissatisfaction.

Please note postings that don’t conform to our Terms of Service Agreement are not eligible for our Satisfaction Guarantee.
